This document defines the

S ubcontractor Product Assurance R equirement ( for equipment

and/or AIT Subcontractors of the GEO KOMPSAT 3 Payload program.

The intent of this

S PAR is to encourage the use of the subcontractor’s existing documentation and

PA systems to the extent possible in meeting the needs of this fabrication and/or procurement.

Where the subcontractor’s ongoing systems, existing plans, and procedures meet the intent and

content of this S PAR, those may be used as the contract baseline.

The subcontractor shall comply with all contract requirements and have responsibility to supply the

end i tems which conform to this S PAR. If there is conflict between this S PAR and contract

requirements, the contract requirement shall take precedence. If the requirements of this S PAR are

not adequate to achieve the required assurance level of the end item, the subcontractor shall submit

deviation requests with justification for the proposal. Subcontractor’s formats for documenting PA

required tasks and analyses may be used unless o therwise specified herein or by the contract. ETRI

reserves the right to disapprove Subcontractor’s formats if the intent of this S PAR is not satisfied.
